INTERfaces is happy to announce the first date for a defense in the frame of our project. ESR 13 Philipp Petermeier, who conducted his PhD at the University of Aarhus, Aarhus, Denmark and SpinChem AB, Umeå, Sweden, will undertake his defense titled ‘Harvesting Nature’s Synthetic Potential for the Manufacturing of Bio-Based Products’ on October 13th 2023 at 13:00 o’clock at the Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering, Aarhus University.

We are looking forward to see him present his results of the last three intense years of research and would like to invite you to join, either in person or online (the link for online attendance will be provided closer to the event).

The PhD committee will consist of the following three members:

• Assoc.-Prof. Dr. Clarissa Schwab (Chairperson from Aarhus University)
• Prof. Dr.techn. Bernd Nidetzky (External Examiner 1, TU Graz)
• Prof. Dr. Vicente Gotor Fernandez (External Examiner 2, University of Ovideo)
