Publication in ChemBioChem

Nicolette Czarnievicz (ESR3) has recently published her first research article in ChemBioChem. In this work a multidimensional and multiplex fluorescence-based kinetic assay to assess transaminase activity is presented. The assay also allows screening a battery of amine donors using free and immobilized transaminases as biocatalysts as well as studying the biocatalyst at the microscopic level. This research was performed in collaboration between the heterogeneous biocatalysis laboratory in CiCbiomaGUNE, the Organic and Inorganic Chemistry Department from the University of Oviedo and Micronit.
