INTERfaces ESRs at EFB2021
This year’s EFB2021 conference took place online from 10th–14th of May 2021, organized by the European Federation of Biotechnology. EFB2021 offered a balanced mix of lectures focused on different topics like Biocatalysis, Bioengineering & Bioprocessing, Biobased Materials, Environmental Biotechnology, Microbial Biotechnology, Medical & Biopharmaceutical Biotechnology, Health, Biomaterials and Plastics. Our ESRs Iulia-Ioana Rădoi (ESR4), Luisa Merz (ESR5) Chiara Danielli (ESR11) presented their current research as posters “Advanced morphological characterization of His-tagged immobilized enzymes by means of infrared microscopy” and “Novel Transaminases for Enzymatic Amination of 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural” and “Enzyme immobilization on renewable, biomass-derived carriers”.
